ABOUT
Anna Roman, from Tampa, FL, began her performance training at the age of four with the piano, soon followed by acting camps based in Clearwater, FL, and has been performing since. Following her graduation from Berkeley Preparatory School, she continued pursuing her passion for the arts, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance with an emphasis in Acting at the University of Florida in Gainesville. During her four years at the university, she wrote, produced and acted in films, web-series', and plays before graduating Summa Cum Laude. During her final year of undergrad, she still craved more, and applied for graduate school. In 2025, she graduated with her MFA in Acting at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale (formerly Yale School of Drama) where she was awarded the Carol Finch Dye Prize, given to one student who best exemplifies true artistry and commitment. While at the School of Drama, she was cast in two plays at Yale Repertory Theatre, one of which was the world premiere of Hilary Bettis’ play Falcon Girls, directed by May Adrales. In her final year, Anna was inspired by her classmates and professors to share and record her original songs, continuing her passion for storytelling through music. She is currently in the company of The Public's production of Girl Interrupted. She lives in Brooklyn, NY and is releasing her first EP, Lark, to all streaming platforms this spring.
